These pages will demonstrate that piano scales with inharmonicity plots (hockey stick) similar to the left column will not have 4:2 and 6:3 octave tests that agree with each other while tuning from the plain wire section into the wound bass section. However, scales with inharmonicity plots similar to the right column will have 4:2 and 6:3 octave tests that closely agree.
