Sierra Software Services has no plans to officially port Pscale/Win or Ptools/Win to the Pocket PC platform. However, the MSDOS versions of both programs will run unmodified if you get and install PocketDos. http://www.pocketdos.com A modifed small screen version of Ptools for DOS is now available. The PocketDos free evaluation version has a 30 second boot delay and the registered version costs $39.00 with unlimited upgrades. A help file for installing Pscale and Ptools on PocketDos will be forthcoming. I am also still investigating the Pscale/Ptools Win versions as newer versions of PocketDos are coming closer to supporting Win 98 and currently support Win 3.0 but not well. Pscale and Ptools installation disks include the MSDOS versions of both programs and there is a special modified version of PTOOLS (ptoolsce.exe) for the Pocket PC screen.

Program specific comments:
Ptools: I have created a modified version of Ptools for MSDOS that is more suitable for a PocketPC screen. This modified version is available by request. Win/DOS Ptools files are compatible.
Pscale: I could not imagine regularly working re-scales on a screen 1/5 to 1/9 the size of a regular display. However, Pscale/PocketDos can be used to record speaking lengths and diameters at the piano or for an occasional display of graphs while on the road. I will note here that the graphics display routines under PocketDos are fairly slow. Win/DOS Pscale files are compatible.
